ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The We Dance Program is a premier educational and performance platform integrated into the International Ballet Stars North American Tour. Since 2019, the program has grown into a powerful national initiative:
- 1,500+ students engaged annually
- 50+ partner studios across the U.S. & Canada
- Performances alongside 55 international professional dancers
This is more than a program — it is a gateway into the professional world of ballet.
A Real Stage Experience
Selected dancers (ages 5–18) perform in full-scale productions:
- Swan Lake: Little Swans, Corps de Ballet, Character Dances
- Sleeping Beauty: Cupids, Waltz Ensemble, Pages, Character Roles
- Alice in Wonderland: Cards, Flowers, Mice, Butterflies, Bunnies
Each role is adapted to the local cast and production.
Nationwide Auditions
Auditions take place in 80+ cities across the United States, in partnership with leading local studios.

- Hosted by selected partner studios in each city
- Designed to identify and develop young talent
Artistic Leadership
The program is led by internationally recognized ballet professionals:
- Artem Yachmennikov — Producer, Artistic Director, and Choreographer, We Dance Program
Artem is a graduate of the legendary Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in St. Petersburg, Russia. He built an extraordinary performing career as a Principal Dancer with renowned companies including the Mariinsky Theatre, Bolshoi Theatre, San Francisco Ballet, and Dutch National Ballet, where he performed many of the leading roles in the classical repertoire.
- Ekaterina Yachmennikova — Producer and Program Director
Ekaterina is a three-time World Champion in ballroom dance. She built an impressive career as a professional teacher on Dancing with the Stars in Italy and has been developing the We Dance Program since its inception in 2019, overseeing administration, coordination, and marketing across all areas of the program.
This leadership ensures exceptional artistic quality, strong organizational structure, and meaningful mentorship in every city.
